Assistant Trainer, Hearts of Gold Service Dogs

Lindsay Parenti  Savannah Connelly earned her Bachelor of Science in  Biology from West Virginia University. Savannah also has  her CNA license, is a registered member of the APDT and  an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Savannah became  involved in the Hearts of Gold Program in 2012 when she  took the beginner class as an undergraduate student at  WVU. The beginner class quickly turned into all the
 courses and assistant teaching and Savannah has been
 involved ever since.

Prior to being hired as the first Assistant Trainer with Hearts of Gold, Savannah was a volunteer for 6 years. During those 6 years, Savannah assisted with every possible aspect of the program from fostering to whelping puppies. Savannah has fostered and helped to rehabilitate many Hearts of Gold dogs to prepare them for placement and has assisted with numerous successful service dog and therapy dog placements. Savannah currently shares her home with her 8-year-old Dachshund/Beagle mix, Ares, and a revolving door of Hearts of Gold service dogs.
